PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES - PEO
  • The Graduates of the program will be able to excel professionally in their careers in mathematics and other related areas.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES - PO
  • Disciplinary Knowledge: Capable of demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and understanding of one or more disciplines that form a part of an undergraduate programme of study programme of study
  • Communications skills: Ability to use mathematics as a precise language of communication in other branches of human knowledge.
  • Critical thinking and analytical reasoning: Ability to analyze the results and apply them in various problems appearing in different branches of mathematics.
  • Problem solving: Ability to provide new solutions using the domain knowledge of mathematics acquired during this programme.
  • Research-related skills: Capability for inquiring about appropriate questions relating to the concepts in various fields of mathematics.
  • Information/digital literacy: Capability to understand and apply the programming concepts of languages to mathematical investigations and problem solving.
  • Self-directed learning: Ability to work independently and do in-depth study of various notions of mathematics.
  • Moral and ethical awareness / reasoning: Ability to identify unethical behaviour such as fabrication, falsification or misrepresentation of data and adopting objective, unbiased and truthful actions in all aspects.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES - PSO
  • Acquire good knowledge and understanding, to solve specific theoretical & applied problems in different area of mathematics & statistics.
  • Understand, formulate, develop mathematical arguments, logically and use quantitative models to address issues arising in social sciences, business and other context /fields.
The present curriculum of all the programmes are finalized based on the Outcome Based Education (OBE) in which the teaching, learning and evaluation process are focused towards the skills and ability acquired by the students during the Course of their study
