Commemorating the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by the great Indian physicist Sir C V Raman on February 28, 1928, Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology (PMIST) is celebrating National Science Week during 22-28, February 2021 on the theme Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills and Work.

PMIST has initiated the SCIDEA to nurture, promote and bring out the scientific ideas from within the children.
SCIDEA invites innovative ideas from students that could bring about a change in the society.
