PMIST is using home grown software named BRAIN (Brilliant Resource Academic Institution) to manage the institution activities for two decades. A dedicated team of programmers are appointed to develop the software. This ERP is developed with ASP.Net as front end and SQL Server as Back end. It has the following modules
It facilitates student's admission. It captures details including personal information, marks details, fees payment and other relevant information for admission.
Every year students are given with scholarship, this module helps to store all the scholarship details and enables the scholarship allotment for the students. Also this module takes care of the scholarship renewal.
It provides facility for storing all Outcome Based Education related information like Department Vision, Mission, PEO, PO, PSO, curriculum entry, course entry etc.
This module enables the faculty members to enter the course plan details, student's attendance and students' marks for the course which they handle.
This module captures details of all books purchased for the library. Also it takes care of the students/staff book borrowing and book return.
All exam related activities like, fees payment for exams, hall ticket generation, hall plan generation, marks entry, grade generation and result preparation are done by using this module.
It helps the warden to manage the rooms availability in the hostel. Room allotment is made when a student is admitted in the hostel after fees payment. Also the students can apply for an out pass using this module whenever they want to go out of the hostel.
It helps the transport in-charge to manage the bus details and route details. Students are assigned for the specific route bus by using this module
Provision for fees posting management is done using this module. All fees payments, including online payment are performed by using this module.
This module facilitates the faculty members to upload the e-contents developed by them. Students can view the e-contents uploaded by the faculty members through the intranet facility.
Whenever a staff is inducted in the Institution the details including their personal information and their salary band are captured using this module.
This module is for the staff to apply leave, OD, and permission to the relevant authorities. Authorities in turn approve the same.
Staff attendance is captured using the punching system installed in the campus. Based on the presence and leave details salary is calculated for each staff.
It is used for storing all the visitors/vehicle entering the campus.
