The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology (PMIST) was established in October 1988 with the objective of imparting quality education and producing globally competent professionals in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.   • The department has a strong legacy of quality assurance and has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) during the years 1998, 2001, 2004, and 2009, reflecting its sustained commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
