The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year of 2002 and is one of the pillars of the University. It is accredited by NBA and aims to develop students for the professional practice of Electrical and Electronics Engineering by offering different programmes that encourage lifelong learning, teamwork and leadership, and promote creative discovery to contribute meaningfully to the development of India. The Department is practicing the state-of-art fields like Energy conservation and auditing Energy efficient systems and Renewable energy systems.

It gives me immense pride and pleasure to lead the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of this Esteemed & Prestigious Institution. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the front runner because of its recent recognition and adoption by all industries and academia, thereby gaining self-confidence of our students to compete successfully with all competitive disciplines. The inherent skills of our students are being well nurtured by highly qualified faculty and hard working staff in achieving goals & objectives of the department.

Apart from the regular curriculum, the department strives to develop the students into intellectual prodigy. Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a fascinating field and study of which will give a challenging, enriching and rewarding experience.

Scope of EEE

Electrical Engineering jobs represent over 60% of all available jobs in job market of Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumental Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, VDHL and VLSI.
Electrical engineers are well positioned to address a variety of crucial engineering issues faced by the society like power generation, distribution, transmission, and manufacturing and utilization sectors.
